SEC Power Rankings

I briefly considered moving Vanderbilt up a notch, but No. 7 is still the best spot for the Commodores. I wondered also if Tennessee might be bad enough to drop below Auburn right now, but I don’t think so.

  • PA, I respectful disagree with your power ratings, I think Florida Gators should be rated ahead of LSU and Texas A&M, since the Gators beat both :-).

  • A&M has improved since then in my opinion. Florida may be exposed this weekend furthermore. They haven’t been improving week to week.

JB, I respect your opinion. I’m trying to rank these teams with a mix of the entire body of work and who’s playing well right now.

  • I must admit the Gators have been struggling since the Georgia game, but they had better snap out of it before Saturday when they meet FSU at Doak Campbell Stadium. the Nole’s have a very powerful offense and not too bad on defense. So I think the Gators will lose this one. LSU not doing too good, letting a team like Ole Miss nearly beat them in death valley AND allowing 35 points against there strong defense. Its going to be interesting just how many points Arkansas can score against their defense this weekend.
