In the current climate of shuffling for bowl bids could a 10-2 team get passed over? Yes, and it’s name is San Jose State. The Spartans are coached by former Ole Miss assistant Mike MacIntyre, who has become a hot name among coaching searches, and their AD is working the phones trying to make sure they find a bowl game. One that he’s spoken with is the Music City Bowl. San Jose’s AD is also working to keep MacIntrye in the fold. …

Rutgers visits Ole Miss Saturday for basketball. That’s the immediate future for the Scarlet Knights. The future beyond that is a little sketchy, in all sports, as Rutgers prepares for a move to the Big 10. …

  • I would like to see a Georgia win here Saturday afternoon at 4 in the SEC championship game. Putting the Dawg up against ND for national Champs, and possIble a Gator and Alabama match for #3 nationally.. That is with a Gator win over the Tide in the.Sugar Bowl. Just hopeful thinking tho!!!

      I think San Jose St. deserves State College’s bowl slot after that fraud of a schedule they played.
