It had been hoped by the TV execs that Bobby Petrino would be on air with the broadcast crew for the Pizza Bowl last night. Weather kept Petrino from getting out of Bowling Green, Ky., and he didn’t make the game.

A late fourth-down conversion attempt backfired for Western’s interim coach, and the team Petrino will take over lost 24-21 to Central Michigan. …
