Question of the Day: Do the Rebels get Treadwell?

Laquon Treadwell, rated the nation’s No. 1 wide receiver prospect, will announce his college choice today at 5.

He’s been considered an Ole Miss lean. Keeping in mind that Signing Day is Feb. 6, and verbal commitments are not binding, do you think Hugh Freeze can close the deal get a verbal commitment from Treadwell today?

A. Yes. It’s a slam dunk.

B. Maybe. Ole Miss has been down the road with high-profile recruits before.

C. It’s possible, but Oklahoma State has closed the gap.

D. No.

  • B: I feel good about it, but you never know what these kids are going to do. PA, what do you make of Chris Jones? Scout and 247 have him VERY high and as a 5 star. Rivals doesn’t even have him in their top 250 and he’s a 3 star. That’s a pretty big gap. Either way, great pick up for MS State.

Jones has a lot of raw ability. He’ll probably sign with State, but the interest others are showing in him justify those high rankings.

    He’s a rebel!

Thats what it is showing. Rebs went from 17th to 11th on Rivals with his commit.
