Spanning the globe on a Thursday morning …

It’s Decision Day for Laquon Treadwell, the nation’s No. 1 wide receiver prospect. Actually, it’s not Decision Day for any recruit until Feb. 6, National Signing Day, this is the day Treadwell has chosen to announce his college choice.

So, where will he go? Many who closely follow the sport of recruiting say Ole Miss, but it does not appear to be a slam dunk.

Here’s the Chicago Tribune’s take on Treadwell’s recruiting where it calls Ole Miss the heavy favorite but isn’t ready to call the Rebels the projected winner.

Ole Miss basketball has won six straight and eight of its last nine going into Saturday’s afternoon tip (Daytime Basketball!) against Arkansas. The Razorbacks defeated Auburn 88-80 in double overtime last night.
