Alford, Golson and the need for consistency

From the mother ship this morning …

Hugh Freeze comments on the transfer of former Southern Miss quarterback Anthony Alford and why second chances can be a good thing.

Our take on Senquez Golson and his decision to give up baseball to focus on football.

The basketball Rebels are 4-0 in SEC play and have won seven straight overall. They are back in the polls, playing at a high level, and the table is set for this team to do something special.

As long as they remember what got them where they are and maintain the consistency that has led to a 15-2 start.

  • in my opinion Golson baseball performance with the Rebels had much to be desired.,His football performance not too bad, I believe he made the correct decision.

THE Diamond Rebels should be hitting the field very shortly. Season play begin about the middle of Feb 2013. I think the Rebs will be a competitive baseball team this season, and maybe a trip to Omaha to finish off the season with a championship banner.
