Kiffin’s recruiting efforts recognized

Defensive line coach Chris Kiffin didn’t attend Hugh Freeze’s Signing Day press conference, but he was there in spirit. He was frequently mentioned by Freeze.

Earlier today Kiffin was named the national recruiter of the year by FoxSportsNext, a division of

Kiffin was the lead recruiter on Laremy Tunsil, the nation’s No. 1 offensive line prospect, and as Robert Nkemdiche’s position coach was very involved there as well.

  • Wow! recruiter of the year? I don’t remember ever hearing of that award, before today. I expect we will see a banner reminding us of Kiffin, hanging at Dagg Hemmingway soon. Kiffin may have carpel tunel surgery later this year, signing all those checks, ya know!
