Settling into Nashville

Getting settled in here in Nashville.

Ole Miss had scheduled a pre-SEC tournament media opp for yesterday afternoon, but it was cancelled because of an illness for Andy Kennedy.

The Rebels will work out at a local high school tomorrow, and we will talk SEC tournament, and other things I’m sure, with Kennedy and players then.

The tournament begins with two games tonight: MSU against South Carolina and Texas A&M against Auburn.

Ole Miss will be the last team to take the floor when the Rebels tip against Missouri Friday night at 9.

Ole Miss currently sports a 56 RPI with a 1-4 mark against RPI top 50 teams. Missouri had a 34 RPI and a 3-4 mark against the top 50. A second win against Missouri would be a boost to the Rebels’ resume. Whether a single win in the SEC tournament can break the Rebels’ 10-year drought of NCAA tournament absences remains to be seen.
