Kennedy, Williams talk NCAAs

Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy and players Nick Williams and Murphy Holloway addressed media this afternoon in advance of the NCAA tournament.

The Rebels will fly to Kansas City tomorrow.

Kennedy, a self-professed hoops junkie on TV, talks about Wisconsin, the Rebels’ second-round opponent as the two meet Friday.

With so much focus on this program reaching the NCAA tournament, Kennedy says he hopes the Rebels can play loose against the Badgers and not just be happy to be in the field.

Here’s Williams. He says there wasn’t much talk about the SEC tournament title today. He believes he and his teammates have put that to bed and will focus on Wisconsin.

Williams is very proud of the achievement of reaching the NCAAs, but he doesn’t want the season to end in Kansas City.
