Summers ready to play

Jarvis Summers talked of pain and dizziness from the concussion he sustained late in the Rebels’ SEC quarterfinal win against Missouri.

He was held out of contact until Wednesday when he was full go in practice, and he expects to play against Wisconsin today.

The return of Summers could be a big lift for Ole Miss with the halfcourt, slow-it-down style that Wisconsin likes to play.

Will the Rebels be the next SEC team to fall from tournament play? Missouri fell yesterday NCAA, Tenn and Kentucky out of NIT, only SEC left standing in NIT is ALabama, in NCAA Gators and Ole Miss. It could be all over today for the weak SEC Basketball programs. I believe the Gators will stand for another day. SO, then, all left would be Alabama NIT And Gators NCAA. JB

You could be correct Rebels won today going away and Gators do have difficulty in winning on the road. I think they will win tonight some upsets have already happened in tournament play and it could happen to the Gators but don’t think so. Must remember the Florida Gators were the only SEC Team rated in the top 25 this season.
