From the mother ship, our take on Ole Miss’ 5-1 loss to Mississippi State in the Governor’s Cup game.

Not much by way of quotes and reaction here. As Mike Bianco kept the team huddled tightly together on the outfield grass deadline became an issue for me, and getting on the road back to North Mississippi became an issue for those who were driving back.

I’m hunkered down in a hotel room this morning getting some work done.

Loss streak reaches six

Football is back on the field this morning, right now as we speak.

I have a family event to attend down here today and will be traveling back in the afternoon.

  • Ross Mitchell was outstanding in relief. The crowd was really into it…just a great atmosphere. I drove a long way for what probably will be the only game I get to see, until Omaha. The NCAA have loosed the hounds.
