Turner talks MSU series

Ole Miss catcher Stuart Turner hasn’t been a part of a series with Mississippi State. He says the importance of the weekend isn’t lost on him, however. He’s heard others on the team talk about a three-game set with the Bulldogs.

In MSU, Turner, who is second in the league in throwing out would-be stealers, faces a team who will be aggressive on the basepaths.

That won’t change his approach. To paraphrase, Turner says, “I’ve got to be me.”
