Rebels eye MSU series

Some Bobby Wahl video here. The Ole Miss Friday night starter is 9-0 with a 1.21 ERA. In SEC play Wahl is 5-0 with an ERA of 0.92. He has not allowed two earned runs in the same start since March 29 at Florida. Here he talks his about recent success, Mississippi State rivalry, pitching to left-handers, the home field advantage in spite of Swayze struggles this season. “The fans play a huge part in our energy,” he says.

For Tanner Bailey, getting back to form for the bullpen is about attention to detail. He’s focused on mechanics this week. That means different things for different pitchers. For Bailey, it means making sure his follow through goes directly to home plate and that he doesn’t leave his front side open toward first base.

Center fielder Auston Bousfield says the Rebels are confident they can hit left-handed pitchers. They hit lefties well at Auburn in spite of two losses in three games. Bousfield hits on MSU and other topics too.
