O’Dowd candidate for ULM AD

Dan O’Dowd, an assistant athletics director with the UMAA Foundation, has applied to become athletics director at Louisiana-Monroe, according to documents obtained by the Monroe News-Star.

Thirty-five candidates have applied.

O’Dowd worked three years at ULM prior to joining the staff at Ole Miss in the summer of 2012.

The school hopes to have an AD in place by Aug. 1.
