Marshall Henderson suspended indefinitely

by John Luke McCord

This is a statement from Ole Miss media relations pertaining to the indefinite suspention of Marshall Henderson:

OXFORD, Miss. — Ole Miss guard Marshall Henderson has been suspended
indefinitely for violation of team rules, the school announced

“Since the season ended, we have talked a lot about Marshall
taking a greater leadership role with our team. With that comes greater
responsibility, and he must do a better job of living up to the high standard we
expect from him and he desires from himself,” said Ole Miss head coach Andy

A senior from Hurst, Texas, Henderson started 33 games for the
Rebels in 2012-13, averaging 20.1 points and helping the team to the SEC
Tournament Championship and an NCAA third-round appearance in his first season
in Oxford.

Should MH be lucky he could possible dodge the bullet.

He’s not the first. Go back 30 years ago when Hunt was coach, and best players were suspended.
