OL depth taking shape

This is what the OL should look like when Pierce Burton (71) returns at right tackle. Not clearly visible in this photo is right guard Justin Bell. Patrick Junen was considered the favorite to replace A.J. Hawkins, but Junen has yet to practice. Bell has taken all the first-team reps, and Junen may have a hard time unseating him when he returns.

From the left in the photo the first team includes Burton, Bell, Evan Swindall, Aaron Morris and Emmanuel McCray.

Freshman Laremy Tunsil has gotten a lot of work with the first team at left tackle as McCray has often moved over to replace Burton. Freshman Austin Golson has run second team at right guard from the beginning.

Redshirt freshman Robert Conyers has gotten some first-team work at right tackle also.

If the first team holds, I could see the most-used reserves being Junen, Golson and Tunsil. The No.2 center right now is Austin Douglas.
