Friday Morning Update

Spanning the globe on a Friday morning …

From ESPN’s SEC blog, an Ole Miss preview. …

I can honestly say I’ve never seen this from any Ole Miss coach I’ve covered, but maybe it’s the secret to getting to the SEC championship game. This is a must click.

TCU coach Gary Patterson criticizes the decision of LSU coach Les Miles to reinstate tailback Jeremy Hill. Patterson has suspended a key TCU player for the season opener before the Horned Frogs and Tigers Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. at Cowboys Stadium. …

USA Today’s Dan Shanoff writes that Johnny Manziel should just cut ties with college football right now and start preparing for the NFL. …

From Yahoo, Jay Bilas’ Twitter rant — not his first but his most productive — leads to major NCAA policy change. …

From Gainesville, Florida quarterback Jeff Driskell is back at practice less than 10 days after having his appendix removed. …

..Every citizen of the republic should consider himself an unofficial policeman, and keep unsalaried watch and ward over laws and their execution.

State got caught red handed, but that was alright with our policeman. It’s just Ole Miss that catch all the lies. We all know the NCAA has kept the policeman informed every step of the way on all investigations that are going on.

If you only knew of what I am privy to. There are “spies” throughout college athletics, who work hard to keep college athletics “pure”. Old, young and in between. The NCAA is a multibillion dollar industry and Mark Emmert is the CEO. You don’t take chances when you are dealing with one of America’s top money producers.
By the way, State turned themselves in and immediately fired the coach that was responsible, plus they cooperated completely. Never did they try to “sweep it all under the rug” or “cover up”. Good day sir!

Florida Coaches think that Jeff Driskel will be able this season to put 300 plus yards per game this season. Suspended LB Antonio Morrison is expected back soon, that is,if he keeps his cool and not bark at any Police Dogs again and stop beating up on Bouncers. Gators got a very good defense, just the Offense must carry its load. Expect to see them in SEC Championship this season if things good for them..It is possible that FSU may have the better team but we shall see when the meet in late season..

In yesterday ML baseball game between The Marlins and Pirates Ole Miss Star Presley went 1 for 2 in that game aiding his team to victory in which the Pirates won 5 to 4.

IN just a few day from now we will see which coach James Franklin or Hugh Freeze fair against each other. I would think this game is a tossup, winner the one getting the breaks and less turnovers.
