The St. Regent urban dictionary defines internet troll as …a misunderstood ,often highly intelligent person that is most interested in bring the truth into the light and although cumbersome and annoying, they do serve a purpose, by exposing greed, corruption and untruths on blogs and websites. Ahhh Thank you very little.

    • Steve

Vandy is about to have a rude awakening … they have been living a dream season wise for the past couple of years and a nightmare this past summer. Their true place in the universe is about to be asserted August 29, 2013.
Ole Miss has the weapons, the coaches and the passion to bring it on the field. If there are any Vandy members still on the team … you know, the ones NOT in jail for crimes such as rape or who aren’t in court giving depositions they might be able to field a team. It’s all still left to be seen.
Hopefully they’ll bring a team because Ole Miss would like to show them … fully loaded … where they truly belong in the SEC, which is at the bottom of the East.

Jumping the gun here!!!None of those Freshmen have been battle tested under fire tested as yet, wait until after the Vandy and Texas games then have an assessment, way too early for predictions

  • G

C’mon people, answer the question. My vote is E- Tony Conner

    • JB

I did answer the question, Too early for any judgement At present I would not vote for any of them.

      • JB

Besides Cid and Steve, and others are having their everyday debate, and it gets interesting at times.

  • Steve

Okay, if you’re going to insist. D: Nkemdiche …
But I think it has been close between him and Treadwell.

  • Cid Riley

I will choose number E. Chris Jones for spilling the beans to the NCAA about how Ole Mi$$ recruits, by prostituting girls out to recruits, offering jobs to relatives, cash payments, and dozens of other underhanded tricks.

    • JB

Disgusting! if Riley is correct in this claim. I hear no rebuttals. Ole Miss should be barred from all NCAA sports activities.

  • JB, your point on the inexperience of the freshmen is well taken. I often talk about the time it takes for any newcomer to acclimate to new surroundings. I’m asking the question more from a camp standpoint.

For me, it’s Treadwell. Strong, physical, dependable hands in traffic. Sanders’ injury gave him the opportunity to get first-team reps sooner. It will be interesting to see how often they try to go to him against Vanderbilt.

  • The Ghost of Col. Reb

    E. All of the above but too early to say

Thanks, PA then for me it would be D. Robert Nkemdiche

  • James Hayes

My vote would be for Laquon Treadwell.

My sources are heating up as Mi$$ $tate paying players follow up is just bout to bust loose. Now the big question is if he was paid and if then how much was paid to C J. to get his services at MI$$ $TATE. Of all the underhanded leaking a story on Ole Miss to try to help there bad recuirting class. stay tuned to MI$$ $TATE CAUGHT RED HANDED PAYING WHO???????????

cid several of us owe you an apology, myself included. We have been calling you a troll which you are not, if a troll is highly intelligent then that leaves you out. Sorry to have called you a name that you do not meet the criteria for. please accept my apology on behalf of many the blog users here

    • erastus

He is a troll, and trolls are most certainly not “highly intelligent”. Trolls do, however, make things up, including the definition of “troll”.

      • UMBBFan

CID is not intelligent enough to understand that often intelligent is not the same as always intelligent.

  • UMBBFan

The fact that there are at least 6-7 young men to consider for this speaks volumes to the kind of recruiting class we had. If Nkemdiche had not been hurt, he would have had the best camp. He still may have the best first game. I expect bigs things from tony Conner. One of the freshman running backs could bust a long run as well.

  • Cid Riley

Say what you will….it won’t change the fact that the wheels are spinning and the clock is ticking. These NCAA Investigations are very thorough. #Olemissprobation2014.
