Tuesday Practice Update

Here’s Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze:

Offensive tackle Pierce Burton was held out of practice today, a precautionary move, Freeze said. Burton is expected to play at Texas.

So too is WR Vince Sanders, who has been out of action with a broken collarbone since the second day of practice. Sanders was back at work and said he felt good. Freeze said he didn’t have an idea how much Sanders will play but that he’ll try to work him in.

WR Korvic Neat was also back at practice.

Freeze shed no new light on Charles Sawyer’s situation. The senior cornerback was arrested early Sunday and charged with DUI and running a stop sign.
