Ole Miss basketball has announced that sophomore forward Terry Brutus will miss the upcoming season after tearing an ACL.
Head coach Andy Kennedy has announced that sophomore F Terry Brutus will miss the 2013-14 season after tearing his ACL in his left knee.
Brutus, of Spring Valley, N.Y., was a hustler and was learning his way last year on a very experienced frontcourt. He averaged 1.3 points, 1.7 rebounds and nine minutes while appearing in 27 games.
With the Rebels rebuilding in the frontcourt after the departures of Reggie Buckner and Murphy Holloway no loss is good.
The Rebels regain upperclassmen Demarco Cox and Aaron Jones in the frontcourt and add freshmen Sebastian Saiz, who had a very good summer with Spain’s U-19 national team, and Dwight Coleby.
