Hugh Freeze told us earlier this week that he was scouting other tempo offense teams to get some ideas that he might implement in order to make the Rebels faster.

“We’re looking as we study other teams that are very similar to us. Are they doing anything that can increase our tempo?” Freeze said.

From AL.com, Jon Solomon did some tempo research on the fastest teams this season. This might give us an idea of who Freeze is scouting. …

From Tuscaloosa, Cecil Hurt wonders how many folks might like to see an Alabama-Texas A&M rematch. Probably quite a few.

    PA? Aren’t contracts for State employees, in this case coaches, limited to no more than 4 years. I think that makes it difficult to get a big name coach. They usually prefer long term deals.
