Tuesday Practice Notebook

The Rebels worked outside in the stadium tonight. The temps were chilly but nothing like what is expected Saturday night when temps during the game are expected to be near freezing.

Still, a lot of players were wearing long sleeves this evening, and a lot of coaches — and media — had on a hat of some sort.

Here’s Hugh Freeze:


Charles Sawyer did not practice today, and it’s looking like he won’t be available for Missouri. That will mean one less option among the cornerbacks, but honestly, if Mike Hilton, Senquez Golson and Derrick Jones stay healthy, the Rebels can put three solid players on the field.

There will be a lot of emphasis on Jones, who at 6-3 is the Rebels’ tallest corner.
