Wallace talks social media, his MSU recruiting experience

Bo Wallace isn’t from Mississippi – Pulaski, Tenn., is his home – but he doesn’t miss the emotional aspect of playing Mississippi State.

“It’s very emotional for me just because I think the things they do on social media and things like that … it get you ready to go, and you want to play those guys.”

Wallace passed for 294 yards and five touchdowns against MSU last season.

Here’s Wallace from today’s interview session after practice:

He did not elaborate on what he has seen on social media.

“You always see stuff this week. That’s part of what they do. We’ll let them do that, and we’ll get ready to play.”

Wallace was close to being one of them. He took a recruiting visit there and says that MSU coach Dan Mullen made a favorable impression on his parents.

“I was pretty close (to signing with MSU). He won my parents pretty well. He’s good … I think he’s a good recruiter. He’s got some players there, and he’s a good coach.”
