Kennedy talks Barclays, K-State

Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy like the aggressive nature his team showed in wins against Georgia Tech and Penn State in Brooklyn. He hopes they can carry that edge from a neutral site to a hostile environment when the Rebels visit Kansas State Thursday.

An NCAA tournament team last year, Kansas State is 4-3. Kennedy says the Wildcats — who were at the Sprint Center in Kansas City with Ole Miss in the NCAAs — have big and athletic players on the wing. K-State has lost to Charlotte, Georgetown and Northern Colorado.

After Manhattan, the Rebels are back home for No. 13 Oregon. The Ducks are 7-0 after Sunday’s 82-61 win over Cal-Poly and has the week off before facing Ole Miss.
