Juco OL commits

Junior college offensive tackle Fahn Cooper has committed to Ole Miss, John Luke McCord and others have reported.

If you are wondering who steps in next season at right tackle for Ole Miss in place of Pierce Burton, today’s news is a good indication. Cooper is 6-foot-5, 314 and had offers from Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Arizona State, Illinois, Nebraska and Syracuse in addition to Ole Miss.

Cooper is rated a three-star prospect by Rivals and Scout, a four-star prospect by 247Sport. He played this season at College of Dupage in Glen Ellyn, Ill., after originally signing with Bowling Green where he spent a true freshman season and redshirt season. He will have two years to play for Ole Miss.

John Luke will have more in tomorrow’s Daily Journal and will have the first of a weekly recruiting column in Monday’s paper.
