Spanning the globe on a Tuesday morning …

Well, if you are an Ole Miss fan whose bowl preference was Liberty, you at least get this:

Personally, I’m excited to be in a venue where you can see from the press box and a game that will have an afternoon kickoff, just the third one for the 2013 season.

Who knows, maybe all those night games played a part in the rash of injuries the Rebels had this season. If you were wondering how the rehab is going for defensive end CJ Johnson, he shared a bit of news on Twitter:

The Heisman Trophy finalists have been announced. There are six, and half of them are from the SEC. Auburn running back Tre Mason, one of the six, is a long shot for the award, but he’s hopeful anyway. …

Mike MacIntyre was considered an up-and-comer in the business when he was an assistant on David Cutcliffe’s staff at Ole Miss.

His success at San Jose State landed him the Colorado job where the Buffs were 4-8 this season, his first. He’s trying to recruit his way out of a rather dismal state of affairs in Boulder and is hoping this video, posted by CoachingSearch.com, allows him to land the best class ever for Colorado. …

Arkansas State could lose its coach after one season for a third-straight season. Bryan Harsin’s dad confirms his son’s interest in returning to Boise here, and it has also been confirmed that Harsin has been in Boise to interview for the job:
