Four Ole Miss players make all-freshman team

Ole Miss placed four players on the SEC all-freshman team announced by the league office Thursday.

Wide receiver Laquon Treadwell was named the SEC’s freshman of the year on Wednesday.

A day later he was joined on the team by offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil, defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche and safety Tony Conner.

Tight end Evan Engram was not one of them, though Engram was named second-team All-SEC by The Associated Press earlier this week. Engram tied for the second AP spot with Arkansas freshman Hunter Henry, and the coaches gave the nod to Henry on the freshman team.
