Mid-Year Signing Day

Ole Miss got some help on the offensive line today with the signing of juco offensive tackle Fahn Cooper who could be the replacement for senior Pierce Burton on the right side.

Defensive end/quarterback Jeremy Liggins, of Lafayette County and Northeast CC, also signed. You don’t see the slash between those two positions very often.

The Rebels got more defensive help with EMCC middle linebacker Christian Russell, 6-1, 235, who was rated a four-star prospect upon leaving high school in Fayetteville, N.C., two years ago. The Rebels will have an opening at MLB as Mike Marry departs.

In addition the Rebels have added Holmes offensive tackle Talbot Buys as a preferred walk-on.
