Friday Bowl Practice

First, the news …

Looks like freshman tight end Evan Engram will play. Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze is hoping to get about 30 plays from Engram.

Looks like freshman offensive lineman Laremy Tunsil is doubtful.

Wide receiver Ja-Mes Logan is academically ineligible and did not travel with the team. This is big hit, and it was not unexpected. Before the Christmas break Freeze didn’t sound very optimistic that he’d have Logan.

The only player who did not report that was expected in Nashville is tight end Nick Parker. His wife had a miscarriage Thursday morning, Freeze said.

“Our prayers are with him and his wife. He had not reported yet. She just had it the morning that we were leaving. It’s one of those gut-wrenching things that happen in life,” Freeze said.

Here are a couple of practice clips. I’ll post Freeze’s comments after they load.
