Freeze responds to Hill report

WTVA is reporting that Ole Miss football player Bobby Hill has been arrested by Oxford police on charges of sexual battery.

Investigators said a victim made a claim that Hill sexually assaulted her, and Hill, 19, was taken into custody.

Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze issued this statement:

“We are aware of the situation and recognize the proper authorities are responsible for the matter. Bobby has been indefinitely suspended from all football activities while the process moves forward. We take this very seriously and will make decisions once the course of action is complete.”

Hill, a native of Moultrie, Ga., appeared in 10 games as true freshman, mostly on special teams but also played cornerback.
