Spanning the globe on a Friday morning …

Ole Miss opens the 2014 regular season against Boise State in Atlanta. It’s an easy drive, assuming it’s not snowing in late August, and a lot of Ole Miss fans will make that trip.

But would you go see the Rebels in London, Mexico City or Toronto?

Texas, a school the Rebels defeated by three touchdowns, may play a game in Mexico City.

OK, so the Longhorns are not a bad geographic fit for Mexico City. London has hosted an NFL game, and our friends to the north have great interest in American football. It’s usually been the NFL that has played outside the lower 48, though Notre Dame began its 2012 run to the BCS championship game in Dublin.
