Rebels Sweep

Ole Miss capped a three-win weekend with an 11-1 victory against Ark.-Little Rock today.

Sam Smith got the game under control with four-straight scoreless innings. He scattered five hits over six innings and gave up a run in the fifth.

Auston Bousfield, Will Allen, Sikes Orvis and Brantley Bell … there’s that name again, Bell … all had multi-hit games.

This wasn’t a very dynamic UALR offense. The Trojans’ pitching numbers were pretty good going into the weekend.

The Rebels are 14-2 and play Tuesday and Wednesday at Southeastern Louisiana. The Southland Conference Lions are 8-5. Among their losses are LSU once and La.-Monroe twice.
