Rebels cranked out 16 hits. Half of the eight runs came in a four-run ninth.

Brantley Bell and Will Allen had RBI doubles. Bell was 4-for-5. Auston Bousfield, Sikes Orvis, Will Jamison and Errol Robinson each had two hits.

Freshman Evan Anderson got the start and pitched three scoreless innings. Austin Blunt gave up two runs on four hits in two-thirds of an inning, and Jacob Waguespack allowed a run on three hits in 1.1 innings.

Cheyne Bickel, Hawtin Buchanan and Scott Weathersby all had scoreless appearances and all gave up one hits. Bickel pitched two innings, Buchanan and Weathersby one each.

It’s on to SEC for the Rebels, who improved to 16-2. They’re at No. 1 South Carolina Friday at 6.
