Ole Miss 11, UAPB 1

UAPB is now 0-17 in games outside the SWAC. They’ve been close in some of those games. Today wasn’t one of them. They were bad early, and Ole Miss had an easy time.

Mike Bianco used a lot of players. John Gatlin got a start at second and went 0-for-4 with an RBI on a groundout.

Here’s Bianco:

Bianco flipped Bousfield and Lee in the batting order, dropping Bousfield down to No. 2. It didn’t change anything immediately. He finished 1-for-4 with a two-run single in the fifth.

Bianco used six different pitchers. Freshman Evan Anderson started, went 3.2 innings and got the win. He was followed by Jacob Waguespack, Scott Ashford, Preston Tarkington, Austin Blunt and Hawtin Buchanan.

Austin Anderson, Will Allen, Sikes Orvis and Errol Robinson each had two hits. Freshman J.B. Woodman had a solo home run.

Here’s Woodman:

The Rebels improve to 22-8 and are back in action Friday night at 6:30 at home against Auburn.

Another impressive win for Ole Miss, over the Arkansas School for the Blind at Pine Bluff. I predict a football victory over Presbyterian as well. Charles Dickens should include Ole Miss schedule makers in Oliver Twist.

I looked again and while Minnesota garnered UPI, FWWA, ASS. PRESS and Coaches Championship, you’re right Ole Miss was handed the Dunkle Index National Championship. Now that’s impressive. Who in Hades was Dunkle? Where are the other 2 that the banners proclaim? More lies..oh what a tangled taint you have.
