Advantage Rebels

Mississippi State coach John Cohen says the advantage belongs to Ole Miss for tonight’s Governor’s Cup game at Trustmark Park in Pearl.

Ole Miss won the regular season series against MSU in Starkville. Tonight’s game starts at 6:30. It does not count in the SEC standings but counts in the minds and hearts, Cohen says.

Cohen: “Our mission is clear, and that’s every time we go out there to play as hard as we can. I just hope they’re focused every time we go out. I would say this is another opportunity for our club to get better then Thursday (againt Texas A&M) will be another opportunity.”

Ole Miss coach Mike Bianco will start Jeremy Massie on the mound and hopes that his club — which hit .362 for three games against the Bulldogs at MSU — will find the offensive consistency that eluded it in a series loss at home to LSU over the weekend.

More here about why John Cohen says Ole Miss has the advantage.

i don’t know who has the advantage in this game tonight -Ole Miss or Miss State, however Ole Miss made the day for LSU Conner Hale this week, as follows:

    Conner Hale • LSU

Junior • INF• New Port Richey, Fla.

  • Ilovebulldoglosers

I am starting to think that Cohen may be Karl Hungus because that quote sounds a lot like him.
