Absence of offense

From the Mother Ship, our take on the Rebels’ 8-3 loss to Mississippi State in the Governor’s Cup game. The Rebels got two of the three games that counted most — the SEC series — but the four-game series now stands 2-2 on the season. It’s possible the two rivals could be paired together in the SEC tournament.

6 hit batters? One inning they loaded the bases by batters being hit by pitch! Cohen came out to the mound after the 4th hit batter…and apparently demanded to hit another, cause that’s what immediately happened…now that’s hilarious.

That loss means very little Rebels still have a high RPI rating they should bring a regional home to Oxford. Rebs control their own destiny, just keep on winning.
