Baseball America has Ole Miss among the “secure” teams that it projects to be regional hosts. …

The attempt by some to place a 10-second delay on how fast tempo offenses can snap the football flopped, and the result could be a “competition committee” to review college football.

A good fish, what a catch, I have a big holy fish story but it will wait until another time, BASEBALL, yes i believe Ole Miss will host a Regional and perhaps a Super one with rebels in the lineup. Rebels at Blue Bell park for three days, i believe they will have blue bell ice cream as a desert and have the Aggies as main course, I will say no more about that don’t want to jinx them. just to say GO REBELS!!.

For the SEC tourney, are the top 4 seeds the 2 teams with the best records (with tiebreakers, etc) from each division, or the 4 teams with the best records regardless of division?

  • Roy Munsun

Hey Giant, it’s the top 4 teams overall, regardless of division. Seeds 5-12 play single elimination games on day one, then day two is double elimination and includes the top 4 seeds. Then, I think it goes back to single elimination, then back to double elimination.

ok thanks! I was thinking the two division winners, then the next 2 highest teams in either division. Come on rebs, need at least 2 more!

Actually the top team from each division are seeded 1 and 2 then the next two regardless of division.
