Walls to enter CFB hall of fame

Former Pontotoc star Wesley Walls, who played both defensive end and tight end, will be inducted into the college football hall of fame.

Walls was a second-round pick of San Francisco and also played in the NFL with New Orleans, Carolina and Green Bay. He was a five-time Pro Bowl selection.

On a side note, I’ve played church softball with Walls. He’s pretty good at that too.

Walls last played in the NFL in 2003 with Green Bay. He finished his career with 450 catches for 5,291 yards and 54 touchdowns.
