Video Blog: Louisiana-Lafayette’s Tony Robichaux

LAFAYETTE, La. — A rowdy crowd was one of the things Louisiana-Lafayette baseball coach Tony Robichaux  thought played a big part in his team’s 9-5 win over Ole Miss Saturday night.

He also praised the way his hitters took on the Ole Miss pitching staff, filled with power arms. Game 2 of the Lafayette (La.) Super Regional is tonight at 8 on ESPN2.

A rowdy crowd? More like a bunch of high schoolers with their taunting ‘hotty toddy’ yells, Apparently it worked on Chris Ellis. He, for all practical purposes, was toast after the 1st inning.
With all the beards the Cajuns were sporting, you’d thought the Rebels were playing Pentecostal U. As for the stadium you can readily tell where the swampers spent their money: artificial turf.
I hope the Rebels will hang in there and go out tonight and even the series.

KB come on now Ole miss got a dose of their own medicine, Remember Hot Dog Henderson and his displays. As it looks now a good chance the SEC will be left out of CWS play this season.. and by the way today is Pentecost. enjoy God loves you and so do we.

Bad umpiring and errors will get you every time. Ole Miss needs to hire this guys as the next coach. Those Ragin Cajuns are a shifty bunch. Hard to contend with. I think these boys make it to Omaha. We are just out of our element in the swamp. But good luck Rebs! I hope Bianco and the boys find a way.
