Taking his time

Ole Miss basketball coach Andy Kennedy is more interested in watching his players this summer — as much as the NCAA allows — than filling out his coaching staff.

Kennedy will have two new coaches this season. Back in May he filled one position with former Auburn assistant Tony Madlock, a Memphis native.

In addition to new coaches, there will be a lot of new players. The good news, Kennedy says, is that they’re on campus now, and he’s getting to spend time with them.
