Video Blog: Versatile Alford ready to contribute

It was clear that Anthony Alford has a passion for playing football. Even though the former Southern Miss quarterback could be playing professional baseball, full time, he wants to give football a real shot.

That’s good news for the Ole Miss Rebels, and coach Hugh Freeze, who will not only use Alford as a safety in 2014, but as a possible punt returner and Wildcat quarterback.

Here is interview with the media following Tuesday’s practice session.
