When Hugh Freeze took over Ole Miss football he talked about changing the culture. Much of that had to do with academics and other discipline areas. That’s what Butch Jones, in his second year,┬áis dealing with at Tennessee right now, and it sounds like he’s making progress.

Freeze, beginning Year 3, still talks about the “all-in” conversations he has with players. Perhaps whoever is the most all-in will be the winner when the Rebels and Vols meet at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Oct. 18. …

Alabama coach Nick Saban didn’t sound too happy when discussing the Crimson Tide’s weekend scrimmage with media on Tuesday. …

From Athens, two five-star tailback recruits are ready to add depth to a talented backfield for Georgia. …

I realize there’s some basketball that takes place on these overseas trips. There’s some of this too. Good for these Kentucky players who managed to squeeze in a little bit of down time in the Bahamas. There are probably some similar Ole Miss pictures floating around:
