Bo Wallace has taken some heat for his three first half interceptions against Boise State. With a history of turnover struggles Wallace will have detractors until he can go on a streak of turnover-free games and develop more of a body of work for ball protection.

Wallace has done a lot of good things too. Those will get overlooked because turnovers are a big deal and will be the difference in winning and losing in close games.

Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze addressed the high expectations for this season by saying he felt the program was ahead of schedule on its “journey” in his third season.

The Rebels are 16-11 under Freeze, and they’re not there without Wallace.

Good read here from Maurice Patton at The Tennesseean on what Wallace’s success means to his hometown.
