Moving forward with Bo Wallace

Just a few decisions kept Bo Wallace from having a season opener that would have had his name among the top performances of the weekend.

What Wallace did in the second half — 12-for-14, 239 yards, 3 TDs, no picks — was an impressive game in itself.

While Wallace was turnover-free in the second half you can’t take away the three first-half interceptions. The Rebels will face SEC defenses that will be able to crowd the line of scrimmage and cover the back end better than Boise did. Against those opponents three interceptions will be game-changers.

Wallace understands his mistakes. The challenge now is moving forward with better decisions.
