Rebels garner pledge from Tenn. CB

By John Davis, Oxford Citizen

For the third time in 10 days, the Ole Miss Rebels picked up a verbal commitment for the 2015 signing class.

Cornerback Cameron Ordway (5-foot-11, 170 pounds) became the third prep standout from the state of Tennessee to pick the Rebels, joining offensive tackles Drew Richmond (Memphis) and Alex Givens (Nashville) in that category.

Ordway is a native of Pulaski, the hometown of current Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace. He is rated as the No. 21 overall prospect in the state of Tennessee by

Ordway has been a target for the Rebels for a while, who now have four defensive back pledges for the class in Ugo Amadi, who is from Nashville, Walnut’s Amari Linton, who is a safety prospect, and Lake City’s Zedrick Woods, who said he was going to be a Huskie in the future.

Ordway is the 12th verbal pledge for the Rebels in the class that is not expected to be any larger than 22 signees.

Here are some of Ordway’s highlights, provided by Ordway is wearing number seven, and of course being from a smaller school like Giles County, there are plays of him on offense, at wide receiver and at running back.
