Rebels stay at No. 10 in AP

Not much change for the Rebels during their open date.

Ole Miss stays at No. 10 in the AP Top 25 and moves up one spot to No. 11 in the coaches poll.

Memphis is the last team standing between Ole Miss and a 4-0 start heading into an Oct. 4 home game against Alabama.

Memphis defeated Middle Tennessee State 36-17 Saturday night. The Tigers held the Blue Raiders to 325 yards and had a safety, five sacks and a defensive touchdown on the evening.

Ole Miss # 10 in nation, this has got to be the best JOKE of the week MIssissippi played no one so far., Their brethern up at Miss State could be the #1 football team in the State of Mississippi. Egg bowl remain in Starkville for another year.. next foe for Mississippi is Memphis State, of which will be no push over, Rebels will struggle but survive with a win. Then the abyss in Oxford when the Crimsom Tide show up. Good luck Rebels you will need it in the next few weeks. You come out of the next several weeks winners and you are deserving of national attention and ranking. but we shall see!!!

JB, who peed in your cheerios? Just because your beloved Gators are the worst of the Big 3 in Florida this year doesn’t mean that you have to spew hate on an Ole Miss blog. Current rankings are all just a work in process. Look at LSU being ranked #8 last week. That was obviously a joke. After squeaking out a 42-35 win over Memphis, I would say that UCLA is probably not deserving of their #11 ranking. And South Carolina, after being thrashed by A&M, then barely getting by Vandy, is still ranked #13? The MooU Bulldogs deserve their ranking. Ole Miss may/may not be deserving of their national ranking, but we will find out soon enough.

i must respectful disagree, the Gators are presently #2 in Florida and further: who peed in your cheerios? Had to be my spouse she is a Seminole fan. Ole miss does have a good stat they are # 8 in nation in passing yardage with over 300 plus yards per game. They had better keep Bo Wallace healthy to keep that #10 national rating, in my book Bo is an all american one of the great QB that Ole MIss has produced
