Speaking of Gamecocks, it was a tough day Sunday for Rams tight end Jared Cook as Dallas rallied from a 21-0 deficit to win 34-31. Things got heated on the St. Louis sideline:

Former Tennessee Titans kicker Rob Bironas was killed in a one-car accident in Nashville over the weekend. …

While Ole Miss is looking for ways to get more explosive plays from its marquee wide receiver, Laquon Treadwell, Alabama is getting those plays from Amari Cooper who had 10 catches for 201 yards against Florida.

Cooper clearly outdueled Florida cornerback Vernon Hargreaves.

The difference is in the supporting cast. Cooper has 31 more catches than Bama’s No 2 receiver, and the Tide has only two other players with as many as 10 catches. …
