Rebels slide in AP, stay at No. 11 in coaches poll

Three quarters of struggle against Memphis dropped Ole Miss one spot to No. 11 in the AP Top 25. Alabama remains No. 3.

The team that entered the AP top 10 to bump the Rebels was UCLA which climbed three spots from No. 11 to No. 8. That’s the team that was tied with Memphis in the fourth quarter and eventually won 42-35.

The Rebels remain No. 11 in the Amway USA Today coaches poll in which Alabama is No. 1.

How does a 3-1 Michigan St. team bump Ole Miss from the #10 spot? That is crazy. Michigan St. was blown out by Oregon and has won games to lowly Jacksonville St. Eastern Michigan and Wyoming. Somebody was off their medication when it came time to vote IMO.
Alabama is only a FOUR POINT favorite according to Vegas. The Rebels need to slow down ‘Bama’s running game and contain Omari Cooper–as much as humanly possible–and they have a chance for an upset. Beating ‘Bama is always an upset win for the Rebels. :))
