Manning likes Rebels’ chances against Alabama

Eli Manning likes his alma mater’s chances against Alabama this weekend.

Manning was a senior on the last Ole Miss team to beat Alabama. That was 2003, a 43-28 Rebels victory.

Not surprisingly, he thinks quarterback play will be pivotal, pointing out that Alabama has a new quarterback and that “our quarterback will have to play well.”

He also points out the difficult road for the Rebels beyond Alabama. It’s the price of SEC West membership.
