Thursday Morning Update

Spanning the globe on a Thursday morning …

I often work with the Finebaum Show as background noise. It was interesting Wednesday to hear a caller from Tennessee complain about the lack of coverage this week devoted to the Florida-Tennessee game. Too much talk about the games in Mississippi was the theme of the call.

I agree with the Dark Prince. The road trip to Fayetteville will be a difficult challenge for Ole Miss. If the run defense displayed by the Rebels against Memphis is truly a launching point the Rebels will win that game:

ESPN has extended the contract of basketball analyst/personality Dick Vitale. He’ll be doing less prime time but not less overall time. …
